Harvard Business School Chooses Neuron Global for 2009 Social Enterprise Conference

BOSTON – March 1, 2009 – Harvard Business School partners with Neuron Global for the 2009 Social Enterprise Conference. The conference brought together minds from public, private, and non – profit sectors to share ideas in the hopes of solving the social issues facing the world today. Neuron Global was there to provide a post – event “Insight Report” that would consolidate key knowledge, trends, and concepts discussed during the conference.

Using her own company as an example, CEO and co – founder of Endeavor, Linda Rottenberg said in her keynote speech: "We believe that by removing barriers and increasing support for future business role models, we will move the macroeconomic needle of these emerging economies forward." She stressed the importance of taking the social enterprise’s core competency and directing it to sustainability but at the same time not running a business for the sake of business.

Some of the panelist for the conference included Michael Chu, Managing Director for IGNIA fund; Karolyn Belcher, Vice President of Human Capital; Rajeev Venkayya, Director, Global Health Delivery, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Akhtar Badshah, Senior Director, Global Community Affairs, Microsoft Corporation; Susan Anderson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The ArtReach Foundation; and Margaret Coughlin, Chief Marketing Officer, GlobalGiving

Neuron Global President Sedarius Perrotta said: “The content from this Event was spectacular. It is greatly satisfying to know that because of Neuron’s CI report 1,000’s of people who were not in attendance will be able to benefit from this globally applicable knowledge.”

Neuron Global exists to solve the pressing problem of high-value knowledge loss and information overload during events and conferences. Its “Conference Insight Report” allows attendees at a conference or meeting—and non-attendees, too, of course—to learn and remember more, and access knowledge from sessions they could not attend.
