World Bank Selects Neuron Global for International Forum

MARSEILLE – Oct 11, 2007 –Neuron Global partnered with World Bank Institute (WB) in the “Forum on Leadership and Change.” The conference brought together leaders and practitioners from a number of countries in Africa, the Middle East/North Africa, and Asia regions. Neuron Global provided post-event “Insight Reports” that consolidated the key concepts and lessons discussed during the forum.

Ronnie Hammad, World Bank Senior Operations Officer said: “The forum was a wonderful opportunity for us to exchange experiences and learn something about the alternative ways to promote change in our various individual situations and do something to generate new understanding and new insights about how change can be promoted.”

During the conference, country delegations and World Bank employees shared short case-stories describing leadership development work in their respective countries, and information about new techniques for improving development project planning and outcomes. They shared information through moderated panels, question-and-answer sessions, and working groups.

Presenters included Hajam Abdel Salam, Director, Ministry of Finance, Sudan; Adair Heuchan, Director General, Canada; Jean-Baptiste Koyassambia, Inspecteur général, Ministry of Finance, Mining, Energy and Hydraulics, Central African Republic; Nadim Matta, President, Robert H. Schaffer & Associates; Hanta Rabetaliana, chef de region, Haute Matsiatra, President, Madagascar; and.

In processing the large amounts of information available at the event, Neuron Global addressed the problem of high-value knowledge loss and information overload through its “Conference Insight Report” (CIR). The CIR, an executive summary of all parts of the conference, allows attendees—and non-attendees as well—to learn and remember more, and access knowledge from missed sessions.

Neuron Global President Sedarius Perrotta, who attended the event, said: “The Leadership and Change forum introduced concepts that will be of great value to the development community. As a former Peace Corps volunteer, I could see how the new rapid-results initiatives would have benefited projects in Eastern Europe.”
